Explore the Wicker Park Farmers Market

If you love finding the freshest fruits and veggies and other locally produced offerings, then check out the Wicker Park Farmers Market. Located just a short drive from Buckingham Place, the market offers everything from juicy peaches and glazed donuts to organic soaps.

The Wicker Park Farmers Market is open on Sundays through October 27th.

Vendors include:

Joe’s Blues

Nestled in Michigan’s Fruit Belt, Joe’s Blues sells sweet high bush blueberries grown on Moss Funnel Farms, which sits in Van Buren County. Not only can you enjoy the juicy berries by the handful, but you can use them in a variety of desserts.

JB’s Bees

John Bailey became fascinated by bees at the age of four. His father established hives on their property and would crank the machine that extracted the golden honey from the combs. Today, John owns a farm with over 60 hives. The raw honey is packaged in glass, which provides a better tasting product.

Wild Coyote Farm

The husband-and-wife team of Paul and Shelli run their small organic farm, Wild Coyote with a dedication to natural and sustainable growing practices. Depending on the season, the selection may include green onions, baby lettuce mix, and summer squash.

Real Soaps

When Shamus decided to make soap from all-natural ingredients, Real Soaps was born. He makes the bars in small batches using pure essential and food grade oils. His creations have been featured on MSN and in Time Out Chicago. Scents include lemon verbena, mint mocha, and rosemary geranium. Shamus also offers other products such as lip balm and hand salve.
